Zotter Experience World: A Paradise for Chocolate Lovers

In Bergl near Riegersburg in eastern Styria, the Zotter chocolate manufactory has grown into one of Austria's most popular culinary day trips. What began as a small organic manufactory is now an experience world that brings chocolate production to life for visitors of every age.

Endless Tasting

At the heart of the tour is a tasting conveyor belt, where guests can sample more than 30 varieties of chocolate, ranging from classic to unusual. Stations along the way explain the journey from cocoa bean to finished bar and offer insight into organic, fair trade production.

The Edible Zoo

Right next to the manufactory sits the Edible Zoo, a small farm with animals that eat the same organic ingredients that end up in the chocolate. This mix of taste, knowledge and nature makes the Zotter Experience World a worthwhile outing for the whole family.
