Klangturm St. Pölten: A View Over the City and Its Soundscapes

In St. Pölten's culture district, right next to the Landtagsschiff, the Klangturm rises 77 metres into the sky. The slender tower was designed as an artistic and acoustic experience space, combining architecture with contemporary sound art into an unusual destination.

Sound Chambers, Not Just a View

On the way up, visitors pass through several walk in sound chambers, each filled with specially composed sound installations. This blend of space and sound makes the climb itself an experience, even before reaching the observation platform.

A Panorama Over the Alpine Foothills

From the observation platform, the view stretches across St. Pölten and the Traisen valley, reaching the first alpine foothills on a clear day. The Klangturm sits in St. Pölten's government quarter, within walking distance of the train station and the Landhaus quarter.
