Festspielhaus St. Pölten: A Center for Music, Dance, and Art

In St. Pölten's cultural district, one curved, blue-lit building volume stands out in particular, the Festspielhaus St. Pölten. Since opening in 1997, it has ranked among the most significant stages for dance, music, and performing arts in Lower Austria.

Architecture as a Statement

The facade's distinctive, hull-like curved form was deliberately conceived as an architectural exclamation point in the newly created cultural district, visible from a distance. At night, the lighting bathes the building in changing colors, making it one of St. Pölten's most striking structures.
